First Aid at Workplace

This training is designed to cover practical skills needed by a first aider in the modern workplace and provide the first aider with adequate confidence and knowledge in dealing with some common workplace emergencies. Some good practices for performing first aid during the COVID-19 pandemic that reduce cross-contamination risk are introduced.

Learning Objective

By the end of the training, participants can demonstrate basic first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills.

Methodology

Training sessions include classroom lectures, exercises, group work, and discussion.

• S1: Basic bandaging

• S2 Fracture bandaging

• S3 Choking

• S4 Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

• External Chest Compression (ECC)

• External Artificial Respiration (EAR): Mouth-to-Mouth Ventilation

• Use of Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

• S5 Recovery position

• S6: Lifting & handling

• S7 Mock drill

Training Certificate

A Certificate of Attendance will be issued to participants who have fully participated in the training and satisfied the attendance requirements.
