In this course, you will gain the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines.
This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to provide first aid response, life support, management of casualty(s), the incident and other first aiders in an education and care setting.
This program is designed to provide learners with the knowledge and skills required for planning LV panel work, assessing and controlling hazards, rescue of a person using a Low Voltage Rescue kit, perform CPR and manage victims of low voltage electrocution, if required, until medical aid arrives
To equip participants with the theoretical knowledge and practical application to competently administer emergency first aid, as well as the treatment of other illnesses and injuries in accordance with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines.
