Workplaces in Ontario must have at least one employee on site at all times that has a valid first aid certificate. This comprehensive two-day course offering First Aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for those who need training to administer first aid or CPR to a person requiring aid.
This course is 2 days in duration. We also offer a 1-day First Aid/CPR Renewal as well for those who completed their full 2-day course previously within the last 3 years.
Our trainers and consultants are health and safety professionals. Here are some of our designations: Certified Ergonomic Specialist (CES), Certified Health and Safety Consultant (CHSC), Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP), Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP).
Standard First Aid is a comprehensive course that builds on emergency first aid.
To provide basic first aid knowledge which consists of CPR level A, C, or HCP on request and basic life support skills in a one-day training session.
The Lifesaving Society’s emergency first aid training is an 8-hour course that teaches cardiopulmonary resuscitation and first aid techniques for high-priority emergencies that threaten the victim’s life.
The classroom portion of the course will consist of 7.5 hours and must be completed within 6 weeks of completing the online portion.
Basic one-day course focusing on lifesaving first aid and CPR skills. This one-day course is approved by WorkSafe BC as equivalent to Occupational First Aid Level 1 (OFA-1) This fun, hands-on course covers the essential life-saving skills including CPR, AED use, and choking for adults & children.
