First Aid In The Workplace course is offered by MTL Training

We deliver first aid in the workplace courses for both small and large groups across Plymouth and the surrounding areas of South Devon. We know that every business setting is unique and that is why we adapt the courses to ensure they are relevant to your place of work. These courses are suitable for both employers and employees and ensure that businesses comply with workplace health and safety legislation.

Does My Business Need A First Aider?

You may or may not need a qualified first aider on site. This will depend on whether your workplace assessment identifies a need for a trained first aider or not. However, all places of work should at a minimum have an appointed person who is in charge of the first aid arrangements.

Although you may not be legally required to have an on-site and trained first aider, it makes sense to ensure people within your business are properly trained to deal with workplace injuries and accidents with confidence.
