Re-certification* is available if you still hold a valid certification that is getting close to expiry. Re-certification takes approximately half the time of the full certifications.

Christa Boulton is an experienced trainer/facilitator/public speaker, with diplomas in Educational Psychology, Workplace Safety and Health, Safety and Health in Construction, as well as having logged hundreds of hours of program specific training.
Western Canada Fire & First Aid’s Standard First Aid course follows the new CSA standards and the “Alberta Plus” standards. This instructor-led course is approximately 16-hours in duration and is spread over 2 days of instruction.
This standard first aid program teaches the skills necessary to manage medical emergencies and render life-saving care until professional help arrives. This advanced course is highly interactive, with a strong emphasis on practical applications.
Certification in CPR/AED provides the skills to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking in adults (level A), and adults, children, and babies (level C).
The Occupational First Aid Level 1 course is an 8-hour program, including coffee and lunch breaks. In order to be successful, candidates must demonstrate practical skill competency, achieve a minimum of 70% on a multiple-choice exam and attend the full course.
This comprehensive refresher course is done in a one-day hands-on in-class course.
