In 1994 Life Care Consultants started life as an independent First Aid Trainer offering specialised and customised first aid training to industries and organisations throughout New Zealand.
Since then we have expanded our range of services from providing high-quality First Aid Courses to include health monitoring, on-site occupational nurse services, workplace health assessments, flu vaccinations, wellness programmes, injury management, nutrition and, most recently, pre-employment evaluations.

This course will equip you with the skills and confidence to confidently deal with first aid emergencies at home or at work. It covers NZQA unit standards 6402, 6401, and 6400.Â
This workplace course enables you to assess the scene and casualty for life threatening conditions and provide the necessary first aid. It will give you knowledge of common first aid conditions and how to respond to them.
This course provides learners with the ability to demonstrate first aid knowledge and equip them with practical skills to handle a variety of situations where people require basic life support and first aid.
People credited with this unit standard are able to provide first aid. Furthermore, People credited with 6402 are able to: provide basic life support, manage a foreign body airway obstruction, manage first aid for life threatening bleeding, and provide first aid management for a person in shock.
This comprehensive first aid course has been designed to cover some advanced first aid techniques and methods not found within a standard basic first aid course. This course is not associated with NZQA unit standards.Â
