You must have completed 118 operation hours since you qualified as a FREC 3 and complete pre course training before this course. You will be required to complete and submit 3 work books.
The First Response Emergency Care (FREC) 4 course is a high-level prehospital care qualification that is designed for individuals who want to work as emergency care assistants or other healthcare professionals in emergency and urgent care settings. The course covers a range of topics related to prehospital emergency care, including assessment and management of medical and trauma emergencies, basic and advanced life support, pharmacology, and patient communication.
To enrol in the FREC 4 course, you will typically need to have completed the FREC 3 or equivalent qualification, and have relevant work experience or qualifications in healthcare or emergency services.
The course is usually delivered over several weeks or months and includes both theory and practical components. At the end of the course, you will be required to pass both written and practical assessments to gain the qualification.
This course is the fast track 5 day version and will be intense in nature, you should be able to commit to the full 5 days and be able to complete pre course training and homework.
The FREC 4 course is recognised by the UK’s regulatory bodies for prehospital care, including the Faculty of Prehospital Care of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council (PHECC) in Ireland.
