Throughout this class, you will make several muslins as you learn which pattern adjustments you need to make. You will not complete a garment but instead, you'll walk away with a final pattern ready for you to make a well pair of pants.

Class #1: Students will learn how to take proper measurements, make basic adjustments (such as add length or grading between sizes), and cut and sew their first muslin.
Located in the Gateway Arts District in Hyattsville, Three Little Birds Sewing Co. is a retail supplier of fabrics, notions, yarn, and other crafting goodies. We also offer a variety of lessons and workshops.
Youth ages 4-14 will come and create owls by hand and learn the basics of sewing.
The first step in learning how to sew is learning how to use the sewing machine. We teach on any make and model of machine. Our goal is for our students to be comfortable on their sewing machine so they can sew better!
Learn to sew or further develop your technique with Tchad. Everyone is welcome - from the beginner to the most advanced.
You will walk out having finished several simple projects including, drawstrings, pockets, buttonholes, buttons, hidden zippers, box corners, and finally, a tote bag! It is a great, simple first project that won’t terrify you!
Sewing lessons are the perfect after-school treat on a weekday! In these 1-hour weekly sewing sessions, kids can develop their sewing skills on a regular routine of shorter classes that emphasize enjoyment and creativity.
