At the end of the course a seafarer should able to follow “Safe Working Practices'',as laid out in the ships operating procedure(SOP)and as per the ISM Checklist and also company specific safety drills should comply with.
Travel Safely by boat training, conducted by Elite Offshore, is for anyone working at sea, or dock workers exposed to sea. The aims and objectives of the Travel Safely by Boat training standard are to ensure that all personnel traveling /transferring by boat work in offshore areas.
This programme is designed to meet the initial training and assessment requirements for STCW Certification of Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats other than Fast Rescue Boat; STCW Reg VI/2 para 1 & Sec A-VI/2 para 1-6 (model course 1.23).
BST (STCW Basic Safety Training) is offered by Sea Scan Maritime Foundation .Sea Scan Maritime Foundation offers a range of courses accredited by the Directorate General of Shipping, Government of India, and is certified under the ISO-9001:2015 Quality Management standard by DNV.
