DurationOur brasswind instructors work with each student to develop breath control and sound production. Adults may start any of these instruments at any time and be quite successful.
Students under age nine may not be able to start brasswind instruments until they are tall enough and strong enough to physically support the instrument, to reach the valves, and/or to have enough lung power to sufficiently produce sound.
Brasswinds require strong lungs with a good capacity. Therefore, we recommend younger children start with a recorder or piano for initial musical instruction. However, we will consider each potential student on an individual basis.
Note:
Since 1984 we have helped hundreds of students begin and continue on their musical journey. We offer private lessons in piano, keyboard, guitar, bass, drums, violin, viola, cello, ukulele, tuba, trumpet, french horn, euphonium, saxophone, clarinet, flute, and voice.
We also offer adapted lessons and pre-school music classes. We know you are busy and it can be very hard to find a reliable music teacher. That's why we go above and beyond to find the BEST music teachers in the area--so you don't have to!

Music Makers Calgary is the perfect place for young kids, teenagers, adults and seniors to take Flute lessons
We offer individual, group and introductory music lessons for a multitude of instruments
n a private lesson, you can also learn tips, tricks, and techniques that are specific to flute players.
We Provide Flute Lessons for all ages and skill level. Lessons are available 7 days-a-week, subject to the availability of our instructors. If you request it, we will strive to make it happen!
