Our Food & Hospitality unit standards will teach the basic food safety and food handling as well as how to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.

 

Unit Standards Include:

  • Food Safety
  • (7755) Apply safe working practices in the food or related product processing workplace
  • (20666) Demonstrate a basic knowledge of contamination hazards and control methods used in a food business
  • (167) Practise food safety methods in a food business
  • (168) Demonstrate knowledge of food contamination hazards, and control methods used in a food business
  • Working in the Delicatessen
  • (11998) Prepare and present delicatessen products for sale
  • (15968) Set up and maintain delicatessen cabinets
