The idea germinated in 2008 when our Founder ; Ms. Sarika Agarwal ; worked with a leading certification company, conducting audits for Food Safety Management Systems. During the audits, she realized that the implementation of management system was at best mediocre .
The reason was not really intent but lack of access to knowledge about the systems. Thus was born Quality & Food Safety Consultants in the year 2009 to help food businesses effectively implement food safety management systems.
With the arrival of Food Safety Standards and Regulations in 2011, HACCP based Food Safety Management Systems became a mandate, under schedule 4 of the FSSR, for all Food Businesses holding an FSSAI license.
Thus came the need to educate the businesses on the same. Food safety finally was taking prominence . And we rechristened ourselves to a more relevant name of Food Safety Works.
Started as “Quality and Food Safety Consultants”, the company was established in the year 2009 to bridge the knowledge gap in the industry about Food Safety Management Systems.
This was at a time when FSSAI regulations were still not published, and the concept of HACCP and standards like ISO22000 were recognized only by the export houses.
Food chains are seen as the interconnected systems of food production (including the creation of raw materials), processing, and distribution. They include export and import operations, storage, transportation, and sales or supplies to customers.

Diploma In Food Safety course is offered by Redhat Safety Training & Consulting. This programme is delivered through its well-established IT education and vocational institutes equipped with sufficient modern infrastructure and in-house training facilities.
Advance Food And Hygienic course is offered by Girik Institute.The course fulfils minimum requirements of Resolution ADM No. 068-2013. Regulation 3.2, Rule A3.2 Line B3.2 in according to Maritime Labour Convention (MLC), 2006.
BRC Food Safety course is offered by Punyam. All such training programs are conducted by our ISO trainers having rich experience of conducting ISO awareness and internal auditor's training
