The NSW Food Act 2003 was introduced as a measure for reducing food borne illnesses within the hospitality and retail food industry by improving food handler skills and knowledge.
A food coach can be the real difference though; helping their client to develop strategies and motivation to bring about real change in their eating habits, and consequently real change in their overall wellbeing.
When referring to food safety in Australian food businesses, the ownership is placed solely on the business itself. It must ensure that all food handled and prepared in the business is safe to eat. In order to help the food business fulfil this obligation
By law, every Australian food business must have at least one Food Safety Supervisor employed on the premises.
Participate in Safe Food Handling Practices course is offered by Access Australia Group.
