If you're a young athlete looking to take your game to the next level, Big Play Football Training is the right place for you. Founded by Bucky Brooks, a former NFL player and scout, Big Play Football Training offers state-of-the art speed and agility training and skill development for young athletes. Additionally, Brooks specializes in 1-on-1, small group, and team training to enhance the skills of young athletes.
Bucky Brooks graduated from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill with a degree in communications. As a two-sport standout, Brooks earned five letters as a member of the Tar Heels' football and track and field teams. He concluded his career as a two-time winner of the Art Weiner Award, which is presented annually to the team's Most Outstanding Receiver.
Additionally, Brooks helped the Tar Heels capture the 1992 ACC Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Following graduation, Brooks was drafted by the Buffalo Bills with the 48th overall pick. He spent five seasons as a wide receiver, defensive back, and kick returner before retiring in 1999.
Brooks joined the Seattle Seahawks' front office as an area scout from 2000–2003 before taking a position with the Carolina Panthers as a college scout. During his tenure with the Panthers, the team appeared in Super Bowl XXXVIII and made another appearance in the 2005 NFC Championship Game. Brooks currently serves as an NFL analyst for NFL Network and NFL.com.
The Middle School Prep, High School Prep and College Prep academy programs are proven curriculums to improve a football player’s skills to the next level.
For players working at the beginning of their soccer journey, work focuses on ball control and understanding the game. This is the perfect class for recreational players that want to learn ball control and skills in addition to their practices.
In foundations training, we focus on ball mastery, vision development, agility, perspective training, and so much more. Foundations training is for all ages, and placement is based on current mastery of foundational skills, not on age.
Exercises for this age group will focus on refining skills, developing the ability to complete techniques at speed, and improving overall physical fitness.
This summer’s Sean Phillips Soccer Camp Shutout Roadshow held at the University of Illinois at Chicago is a goalkeeper clinic emphasizing the technical and tactical aspects of the position.Â
