At BAT, we offer football training for kids of all ages and skill levels from December through August. We host several group sessions each week throughout the nine months and cater to all positions and skill levels. Our training includes everything from speed and strength to skills and film study.
Our youth group (ages 10–13) focuses primarily on skill development and speed and agility year-round, while our high school kids are placed in an intense 9-month progressive program that emphasizes various athletic components throughout the year. Our high school athletes spend the winter with the primary focus of getting bigger, stronger, and faster.
For the spring, we then shift those athletic gains to the field and begin mixing in skills work. Lastly, the summer season is all about skills, game situation drills, and the maintenance of overall conditioning for their upcoming seasons.
What’s Unique About BAT’s HS Program?
Customized Training Program: All of our athletes will be put on an individualized plan. The program caters to a variety of ages and abilities.
Film Study: A handful of the drills and exercises we do each session will be filmed. You will have access to this film and should study it to improve its form.
Year-round training takes place at multiple locations, both indoors and outdoors.
All Training Modes At BAT, we have coaches with different backgrounds that enable us to offer strength, speed, skills, and film sessions!
Complete Commitment: We spend countless hours each year studying drills, reviewing programs from other professionals, and watching game films. This is done with the sole purpose of offering the best program in Massachusetts. We have worked with all positions and have dozens of athletes that have remained in the program for 2+ years!
As a person who has always been passionate about sports and fitness, I am dedicated to helping young athletes achieve their dreams. I was very active as a young athlete and played basketball and football until injuries in high school ended my playing days.
Right after graduating high school in 2007, I began coaching football. Since then, I’ve worked with 12 different teams, including over 20 seasons of coaching.
In my eleven years of coaching, I have had the great fortune to work with over 1,500 athletes between coaching, training, and the various camps that I have attended.
In 2012, I began training athletes. In 2016, I decided to start my own company, Boston Athletic Training. With fast growth, I decided to bring in some other coaches to help run the program so that we could help more athletes.
All of my coaches have their own unique skill set, which has really been of great benefit to our athletes. We take pride in all of the programs and training modes that we offer. We love working with athletes of all levels. We have young kids who are just starting out, middle-school athletes, and H.S. kids who are looking to play D1 and D2 college sports.
We have a year-round H.S. football training program that runs from December to August. We offer a top-notch strength and conditioning program for athletes of all ages, and our speed and agility routine has greatly helped our athletes' sprint and shuttle drill times.
A little more about me as a person: I enjoy spending time with my wife, family, and friends. I love to travel and have been trying to see a new country every year. As a nature lover, I love to hike, camp, and go to the beach. Being a mentor and helping my athletes be better athletes and, more importantly, better people is my true joy as a trainer!
