This unit is designed to ensure that an appropriate first response to fire incidents in onshore and offshore situations/emergencies is achieved. This competency applies to students who are required to respond to fires in the workplace (other than evacuating to the assembly point).

This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to safely operate a hand-held chainsaw and maintain it in working condition. Training in AHCMOM213 Operate and maintain chainsaws applies to cross-cutting fallen timber using safe cutting techniques.

This unit speci?es the skills and knowledge required to operate a forklift truck safely in accordance with all relevant legislative requirements. The training consists of theory and practical, once competent, you will be eligible to sit the Safework NSW high risk work licence assessment.
