The operators will have a clear understanding of the safe operating rules of powered industrial trucks, inspections, and maintenance.
The operator will demonstrate the proficiency to obtain the employers certification to operate the vehicle by learning key areas of skill and performance including; operating a forklift, inspection requirements.
Safe work practices, passing a written exam with a score of at least 80 per cent, and demonstrate the ability to safety operate a forklift.
While working as a QC/QA Inspector for Conoco Phillips on a barge in Barbados, Danny had a conversation with a company HSE representative about the scarcity of good safety personnel and the growing importance of safety in the oil and gas industry.
