This course is designed to provide Forklift Operators with the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their appointed tasks safely. This course covers operation of Forklifts Classes 1-6.
Operators will receive instruction on the safe operating procedures, inspections, maintenance, equipment and applicable regulations to ensure compliance and safety when operating such equipment.
Operators will learn about the selection criteria for forklift types and ensure the adequate lift is chosen to perform their work safely.
FLFT-01:
Operators who have not previously completed a Forklift Operator course. This program consists of two training elements: Theoretical (In-Class) and Practical (Hands-On). Participants will be required to complete their practical assessment on-site at their work location.
FLFT-02:
This course is a re-certification for operators who have previously completed a Forklift Operator certification course. Proof of certification is required at the time of training; does not require a practical assessment.
