Forklift (F Endorsement)

This course will provide you with the skills and understanding of the requirements to safely operate, and obtain an F driver's licence endorsement to legally drive on roads within the parameters outlined in the Approved Code of Practice for Training Operators and Instructors of Powered Industrial Lift Trucks (Forklifts) (1995).

This course will also enable you to perform pre-operational inspections, action start-up procedures for a forklift; and gain competence in using forklift skills to maneuverer loads, drive safely in multiple environments, and park and shut down the forklift.

Key Learning Outcomes:

• Demonstrate knowledge of the safe operation of a forklift
• Conduct pre-operational inspection and start-up procedures for a forklift
• Demonstrate safe driving skills on the road and consider various environmental factors
• Park and shut down the forklift, ensuring safety and security
• Describe the legal requirements for driving a forklift on the road
• Understand requirements for obtaining an F endorsement for NZ drivers license
