This forklift course includes the theoretical and practical components to meet the knowledge and skills required to be able to safely operate a forklift truck for the high risk work licence class LF.
Participants will gain the following skills and knowledge:
Forklift types and uses
Load charts
Load types and characteristics
Lifting attachment types and uses
Be able to plan work and manage risks
Pre and post-start checks
Forklift licence safe driving techniques
Forklift stability
Shift and manoeuvre a variety of loads
Shutdown procedures and associated paperwork
Training and assessment is conducted at Site Skills Training facilities. Upon arrangement, training and assessment can be conducted at the premises of industry clients providing there are suitable industry training facilities.
Site Skills Training and Competency Training run weekly high risk work licence courses and qualifications designed to help you or your employees advance in mining, resources, oil, gas, construction and engineering industries.

The whitecard qualification may be completed as a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) assessment for those who have Interstate cards or have attended other site based safety induction programs
Our forklift training includes both High-Risk courses and Verification of Competency courses. These provides licensing and special training to operate different types of forklift equipment.
This course is a Specialised training course that focuses on lockdown and lockout procedures, and in the event of this emergency occurring, how to respond correctly and management of the situation post-emergency.
