The length of our licensing courses vary, and are tailored to differing knowledge and experience levels of students. Our Forklift Courses can be provided at Construction Training Group facilities in Melbourne or alternatively at your work site. Group bookings are available.
All course offerings are nationally recognised and students will receive a Statement of Attainment on successful completion. Additionally students will need to apply and pay for a WorkSafe licence; this can be done at any Australia Post office or via the Myworksafe portal.
Course participants will receive a pre-course information booklet, which is required to be studied prior to attending the course.
Completing the information booklet and attending the course in Melbourne will provide participants with essential knowledge and the skills to complete the forklift test.
Assessment will include knowledge, calculation and practical testing. Full details of assessment requirements will be provided on the first day of the course.
Being able to safely operate a forklift truck is one of the most vital skills to have on any construction site, and in Australia, you require official certification from WorkSafe before you can legally do so.
If you are currently researching the best ways to get your forklift licence in Melbourne, be sure not to be fooled by some of the unofficial, online courses that you may find on offer at extremely low prices.
Only a fully approved Registered Training Organisation (RTO) can provide you with the certification you require to obtain an official licence and gain the right to legally operate forklifts on construction sites across the country.
Fortunately, with the help of the right training provider, you can be entirely confident that the whole process of gaining the necessary certification to operate a forklift can be easy, fun and affordable – so before you know it, you can be adding forklift operations to your existing list of skills.
Who we are
We have been operating for over 20 years, opening our facility in 2002, and have grown significantly honing our service offerings to meet the evolving needs of our clients.
We work closely with both small and large significant businesses to develop and deliver customised training, ensuring employees have the most up to date skills and training.
As an RTO (Registered Training Organisation), we must adhere to state regulatory standards. We are ensuring that employees are trained at nationally recognised and governed standards.
Job seekers, or those looking to upskill, can be confident that training with us will give you the confidence and expertise to take control over your career.
Our quality of training is unmatched, and we strive as a business to change the perceptions of RTO’s in Australia as a tick and flick money grab.
Our Vision
We give our students the skills and training to create safe working environments and practices on the job, ensuring all workers will return home uninjured each day.
