Forklifts are critical to the efficient operation on many industrial operations. They allow movement of loads and the ability to store at heights to be completed with relative ease and helps to reduce the number of workplace injuries, by replacing lifting and carrying with mechanically aided movement of loads.
Because of the height at which forklifts can operate, incidents represent a significant risk of catastrophic consequences. Saskatchewan provincial legislation has very specific regulations governing the training required for operators of forklifts and this course meets those requirements.

The 2009 revision of the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Code included major changes to requirements around confined space entry (CSE).
The course demonstrates how risk management improves work safety and increases the effectiveness of a company’s performance.
Our Skid Steer Loader Operator course has been developed for those with an occupational requirement to be trained to safely undertake work activities that involve the operation of a Skid Steer Loader.
Attendees will learn the importance of regular audits, continuous training, and ensuring that lockout/tagout procedures align with the CSA Z460 standards
