This class requires “Adult Learning Theory” (provided by Made Safe) as a prerequisite. Forklift incidents can cause significant injuries and deaths as well as extensive property damage. Legislation also requires training (classroom and practical) before an operator is considered competent. This course will enable your facility to be self-sufficient in your training needs to develop competent forklift operators.

This course will develop presentation skills so the learner will be able to provide their students with an understanding of forklift terminology and safety principles, the ability to safely operate and inspect a forklift as well as assess and control hazards on site. This course is designed for supervisors or workers who have the ability to speak in front of others and a clear understanding of Forklift operation in a manufacturing environment.
