This course has been designed to provide the skills and knowledge required to operate a forklift truck. Pre-Study of a Forklift Learner Guide and completion of questions in an Activity book is to be completed self paced prior to attending your first face to face session.
The face to face training and assessment is conducted over two days in a small group of four students per course.
Prerequisits
Must be 18 years of age or over
Must reside in Victoria
Must provide Drivers Licence or other photo Identification which contains Photo, Date of Birth and Signature. (see ID list over page)
Basic English, literacy and numeracy skills at a level sufficient to read and interpret workplace documentation and carry out basic mathematical calculations
Must not currently hold an equivalent High Risk Work Licence (WP) from any jurisdiction in Australia
VOC
Under new regulations some sites and employers may require operators to show currency of any licensing or competencies currently held by the operator. Plan B Training Solutions can conduct a VOC for the following valid Licences and competencies.
This Excavator Training course is designed to equip participants with the essential skills and knowledge required to safely and effectively operate excavators within civil construction environments.
This unit covers working safely at heights in resources and infrastructure industries. It includes: identifying the work requirements, work procedures and instructions for the task; accessing and installing equipment; performing work at heights; and cleaning up the work area.
This unit includes the skills and knowledge required to participate in rescue operations as a member of a rescue team, underpinning specialist rescue operations.

Our forklift truck training covers the functions required to operate a forklift truck and (if competent) apply for a high-risk work licence.
