About Us
It all started with contstructing Moveable portable buildings and running the Safe Site Fencing business before purchasing Access Hire in 2014 and becoming the company we are now, called Safe Hire Ltd.
Safe Hire Ltd are leaders and professionals in the field of specialised hire equipment to the trade and construction industry. Assisting customers from Nelson, Marlborough down to the West-Coast, Christchurch and also Gisborne, we hire out access equipment, temporary fencing and portable buildings all designed to stand up to the rough treatment associated with NZ’s heavy industrial and construction sites.
We’ve been in the construction industry for over 25 years, we’ve seen a lot of changes, yet our motto stands the test of time “Safety doesn’t cost – it pays.
Training of workers, management and directors forms an integral part of acceptance of health and safety in the workplace and leads to the culture shift that is often required to ensure full acceptance and implementation.
Trainees must have held a Class 4 licence for a minimum of 3 months (if over 25 years of age) or 6 months (if under 25 years of age), as well as a 5L licence which they can obtain at any driver licensing agent. A separate charge payable to the licensing agency is applicable for this.
This aim of this course is to enable a trainee to produce an occupational health and safety incident investigation based on organisational requirements, an incident and a report based on that incident.
Manual Handling course training is offered by Working for Health for all skill level. Knowledge is power. Ensuring your staff are informed about your workplace's health and safety hazards will empower them to take responsibility for their own well being while reducing their risk for harm.
This code of practice outlines a standard of training that should be provided by forklift owners, managers and trainers of forklift operators. Each work environment may require training to suit the needs of that environment.
