This course will introduce students to the expectations for literacy and mathematics learning across the Ontario curriculum. Students will experience approaches and strategies used in the field to provide, support and teach developmentally appropriate numeracy and literacy skills.
Students will gain philosophical and practical knowledge in order to enhance their own skills, as well as reflect on their own literacy and numeracy development.

Participants will familiarize themselves with foundational concepts and applications for literacy
EDGE Literacy follows the Stages curriculum as developed by Manitoba Adult Learning and Literacy.
We offer Literacy courses in English and Math.
