Free Machine Embroidery & Appliqué

We’ll teach you how to use an embroidery foot and hoop to 'draw' with stitches on your sewing machine and create embroidered works of art. Then decorate a calico bag and transfer your design with the help of textile artist Michelle Barnard.

Delve into our enormous stash of fabrics and using the art of appliqué, sew layers of fabric to form a design and add texture. Add your own creative flair by using contrasting coloured threads, making a truly personal piece of work!

Once you’re confident you can use this fun and relaxed way of sewing to breathe new life into anything from tops to tea towels. This workshop is suitable for complete beginners or for those looking to refresh their skills. Based at a Home Studio in Chorlton with a small class size.
