Alliance Française de Nashville follows the internationally-recognized CEFR levels, from A1 to C2, to meet your needs and grow your skills. We welcome beginners to advanced students alike!
About Us:
Alliance Française de Nashville (AFN) is a member of Les Alliances Françaises aux Etats-Unis founded in 1902. Our members share their passion for the French language and culture through classes, activities and events.
Our chapter helps to create and support programs on both the local and national levels. The Federation of Alliances Françaises USA was founded more than a hundred years ago as an umbrella organization embracing all AF chapters in the United States and Puerto Rico.
The Federation’s mission is to support and encourage member chapters in their promotion of the language and culture of French-speaking countries. The Federation also promotes regional meetings and publishes a magazine and a newsletter.
Additional support includes the resources of a Cultural Offerings à la carte Service and financial grants and awards to member chapters.
To ensure maximum progress in minimum time, all classes are taught by highly qualified and trained native speaking professionals.
WWL offers face to face and remote language courses. Language research tells us that no matter the age, all of us learn our second (or third or fourth!) language the same way we learn our first language.
Students in the Beginner French Immersion Program will be able to conduct a simple conversation in French after only 10 lessons. Basic vocabulary and structure of language. Common phrases and requests. How to ask questions and understand replies. Francophone culture and differences between nations...
Learn French! We offer fun, interactive classes and private lessons for adults. Other than complete beginners, it is necessary to evaluate all new or returning students in order to place them in the correct level. Evaluations are free, brief (5 to 10 minutes), painless and without obligation.
