Fluency Education

Every child is entitled to a quality education – this is a core belief we hold.  Since day one of our humble beginnings in 1999 as EDUEXCEL Tutorial, serving the community in Greenlane, Penang, our commitment towards our children’s education has remained unchanged: we seek to provide the best for our students and develop the next generation of leaders and intellectuals in our society.

Although initially only catering to Primary and Secondary school students, our centre quickly grew in size, and we rebranded, becoming EDUEXCEL Tuition Centre. We are registered with the Ministry of Education of Malaysia and now teach all subjects, including specialised classes for enhanced performance.

Our services continued to expand, which now include before and after school care, and world-class enrichment and language programmes such as the GeniusBrain Super Learning System, and the Cambridge English Proficiency Enhancement  Programme (CEPEP).

The rapid growth and popularity of the Cambridge English courses and our specialisation in English led to the birth of a company – Fluency International Learning House Sdn. Bhd. Today, this sister company takes on the large role of providing courses focussed on English and language development.

Over the years we developed a loyal following of parents, students and clients, producing some of the top students in the state. We take great care in selecting experienced and capable educators and only conduct classes in small groups to ensure each student receives adequate attention.

Focusing on language, with an added focus on English, we seek to create an environment where learning is fun and adventurous and where creativity is encouraged.

We invest in innovative, world-class curriculums and provide a safe and conducive learning environment where children feel supported and respected.

We started out with the world-renowned, globally recognised Cambridge English courses, which continue to be one of our core programmes. We are also now an authorised Cambridge English preparation centre, where students can officially register for examinations with Cambridge English Language Assessment. We hold regular classes, using official preparation materials, published by Cambridge University Press.

From our inception, we provided the full range of Cambridge English courses, from Young Learner’s English – YLE: Starters, Movers and Flyers, all the way up to Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE), and Cambridge English Proficiency (CPE) and continue to do so.

Currently recognised by over 20,000 institutions globally, the CPE tests a range of English higher than the IELTS. We’re proud to have quite a number of our own students who have successfully completed Cambridge English examinations.

Today, our English courses include IELTS and MUET preparation courses, holiday programmes and workshops, corporate training, English for specific careers, and public speaking, catering for young children, teenagers, and even adults. The other language programmes found at our centre include Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, Japanese, Korean, French, and more.

We open our doors to everyone, regardless of proficiency levels of prospective students. With the willingness to learn on the part of the students, our teaching staff will gladly and earnestly take their students to new heights of achievement.

Our teachers are carefully selected for their knowledge and dedication to their role, and also for their ability to genuinely care for and nurture young hearts and minds.

Our aim is to soon become a hub for specialist English courses and language learning, for people of all ages and levels of linguistic proficiency, taking them all to new, higher levels of ability and language mastery.

EDUEXCEL

EDUEXCEL is the brainchild of our founder, and was initially a small tutorial group formed in December 1999 to help students who needed extra guidance in secondary school Mathematics. His passion for helping students achieve their potential gradually resulted in him offering more subjects such as Prinsip Perakaunan and other primary and secondary school core subjects.

Due to the overwhelming requests from students and their parents as a result of his innovative teaching methods, together with a group of dedicated, experienced educators who shared the same passion and ideas on how education should be delivered to students, they opened up more classes to support their student’s needs.

Mr. Chee and his team of dedicated educators’ commitment and devotion paid off as their students excelled in all the major examinations such as UPSR, PMR, SPM and school exams. By the end of 2002, EDUEXCEL had a formidable team of educators with proven experience and expertise in their subjects for all levels including primary school subjects ( SK & SJK ).

January 2005 marked EDUEXCEL’s move into the present main location in Greenlane, which provides a more spacious and conducive learning environment for the students. Here we have rebranded our tuition centre with a new logo and motto to provide a more professional but friendly and innovative feel.

After many years of repeated requests from students and parents, EDUEXCEL’s second centre in Bandar Baru Air Itam opened its doors with a contemporary concept to students in December 2006, followed by a third garden-themed centre at the end of 2010 in Greenlane (Eduexcel Greenlane #2) to provide an enriched student learning environment.

While making significant strides, over time, more space was required due to growing popularity.

With encouraging support from both parents and students,  we decided to consolidate our growing success by merging  both our Greenlane centres, creating our present, main centre, located in Hunza Complex, Greenlane. Our new site in this business centre is a modern facility, specially designed and furnished to create a student-friendly atmosphere.

Our upgraded delivery systems augments our ability to cater to students, allowing for IT-integrated lessons, a day-care facility, and the introduction of a range of new programmes including Cambridge English and GeniusBrain, making us a hub for education and English development.

At EDUEXCEL, our educators, our students and their families are one big EDUEXCEL family. Thus, our motto aptly describes our initiative in position EDUEXCEL as ‘Your excellent and friendly neighbourhood tuition centre’.
