French Group Classes – Beginner Level 2:
This french course is designed for beginners who already know how to introduce themselve. It offers a clear and comprehensive grammatical foundation to be able to talk about your everyday life and order at the restaurant.
French Group Classes – Level 3:
This french course is designed to build up a solid foundation in order to express yourself in basic and common situations. We suggest joining this class once the course “levels 1 & 2” has been completed.
French Group Classes – Level 4:
This french course is designed to build up a solid foundation in order to express yourself about situations that happened once to you in the past.

French Group Lessons – Level 5:
This french course is designed for people with a fair knowledge of french who want to hone their speaking and reading skills using past tenses. Please make sure you already feel comfortable using passé composé (we cover this tense in our class level 4).
French Group Classes – Level 6:
This french beginner level 6 group course is designed for people with a fair knowledge of french who want to hone their speaking and reading skills using past tenses.
Please make sure you already feel comfortable using passé composé and imparfait (we cover these tenses in our class level 4 and 5)
Recommended Level:
Beginner level 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 or similar completed. You have already learned french prior to this course and are able to discuss familiar topics.
French Group Lessons – Intermediate:
This french conversational intermediate group course is designed for people with a fair knowledge of french who want to hone their speaking and reading skills while gaining a better understanding of some french cultural aspects. Our intermediate session will mix both conjugation/grammar reviews with conversations in french. This level is fantastic for students who want to reinforce their knowledge of french and gain confidence in their ability to speak french.
Recommended Level:
Beginner levels (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) or similar completed. You have already learned french prior to this course and are able to discuss familiar topics.
French Group Lessons – Advanced:
This french conversational advanced group course is designed for people with a fair knowledge of french who want to hone their speaking and reading skills while gaining a better understanding of some french cultural aspects.

How Long are the Lessons:

About The Teachers
Eloise enjoys every day at school with her students and is happy to see smiles and joy during her classes. She is experienced teaching kids from 5-12 years old and follow the canadian french curriculum.
Sabrina went one year in whitecourt (alberta) to assist the teachers of the french immersion program by doing learning games for the kids (kindergarten to grade 9). After this awesome experience, sabrina came back to montebello, quebec (where she is from) to be a substitute teacher for a year before going back to the west, this time, to vancouver in 2018 where she mainly does french tutoring for kids.
A dynamic french course that includes games, songs, readings, and creativity to learn french. Eloise or sabrina will adapt her class depending on the level of your child and the age.
Recommended Level:
As this program is 100% tailored to your child’s needs, there is no recommended level to start but we advise to practice twice a week.
French Pronunciation Classes:
The fastest and most flexible way to improve your pronunciation skills at learn french in vancouver is with an individual course. Your teacher will prepare your lessons based on your specific needs: sounds, connected speech, intonation or/and accent.
In your first class your teacher will listen to you speak naturally and test you on different aspects of pronunciation.
Then you’ll learn the areas that are relevant to you focusing on one or two sounds before learning the whole range of sounds, we’ll plan your course around your priorities.
The lessons are designed for you to improve your pronunciation step by step after each class.
Improving pronunciation involves a lot of repetition of any sounds that are difficult. This should be repeated as often as possible to build up the strength in your mouth and your listening accuracy. You’ll also have some exercises to do for spelling to sound, and ear training.
