Our Mission

Lefep coop is a non-profit worker cooperative that pursues two objectives: Lefep coop supports english-speaking canadians and allophone immigrants in their socio-professional integration by allowing them to acquire advanced and specialized French in connection with their professional objectives and career opportunities. To our extent, we want to participate in the success of their integration into Quebec society.

We also want to participate in strengthening French as the language of work in companies, and thus allow Canadians and employers to benefit from the advantages associated with complete mastery of the French language. Our goal is to contribute to economic dynamism in essential and expanding socio-professional sectors.

Our Position

Lefep wishes to introduce specialized French from the beginning of the integration process of immigrants in order to counter exclusion, professional deskilling and discrimination. Lefep believes that a successful professional integration process is the key to encouraging immigrants to participate and contribute fully and in the long term to their host society.
