Professional and effective language teachers with extensive training and classroom teaching experience, mostly native speakers, teach a variety of day and evening classes and introduce our students not only to their language but also to cultural aspects of the country or region where the language is spoken.
Seattle Languages International offers private lessons to individuals, families and small groups. This provides a one-on-one or small group learning environment at a scheduled time convenient for you. All courses and levels are offered for all ages. Private lessons are very goal-oriented. The student decides what the instructor will teach. Lessons are usually taught in two hour sessions. Exceptions must be discussed with the instructor.

Arabic, a Semitic language with ancient roots, has been functioning as a vital written and spoken language for centuries in different parts of the world. In addition to a rich literary tradition, during the Middle Ages, Arabic was the main language of literature, science, philosophy, and theology.
We offer weekend Arabic and Islamic studies for Pre-K, Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced Students. Classes are designed for children between the ages of 4-6 years old. it is a fun learning experience where children will learn Arabic Alphabets, Arabic Handwriting, Islamic Morals, and How to Pray.
At Portal Languages, we prioritize effective communication and cultural understanding, employing innovative teaching methodologies, such as the renowned Natural Approach, to create an engaging and dynamic learning environment.
In this course, the student will be able to develop socially and culturally appropriate proficiency in interpersonal, interpretive, and presentational modes at the novice mid-level in Arabic. Note: Students must pass this course with a C or better to continue to ARA 1991. (4 hr. lecture)
