This Elementary French course is for students who have already studied some French. It requires that you have previously studied French with us or a course of at least 24 class hours.

The French Level 1 course is suitable for learners with some prior experience of the language, for example anyone who completed the French Beginners Plus course here at the Folk House, or those who have learned French for a couple of years and are ready to move on from the basics.
We offer courses in eleven different languages at a range of levels from complete beginner (Level 1) through to Advanced Conversation.
French language classes are offered by The University of Sheffield.
French language course is offered by Language Hub for all skill level.
Throughout the course, your language skills will be assessed in an informal manner to record your progress and for you to see how you are getting on. For more information on assessment, please discuss with your tutor.
