Our curriculum is designed to develop or enhance spoken and written French. The curriculum follows the guidelines of the globally recognized Frames program defining the different levels of language learning.
Regular French is comprised of 24 hours of instruction, taught over 8 weeks that allows learners to approach the language contextually through varying practical solutions. These courses can be combined with thematic classes or Private Classes to strengthen specific skills.
The Alliance Française of Los Angeles is part of a global network that dates from 1883, when the Alliance Française de Paris was created.
Today, there are over 900 Alliances Française chapters working in 130 countries across the globe.
We all share a common mission of promoting the French language and Francophone cultures, in order to foster positive relations between Francophones and Francophiles of all ethnicities and nationalities.
