Course Description
This module is mapped against A1 level in French according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). It is for absolute beginners or students with very limited knowledge of the language.
No previous knowledge of French is required. Students will develop a very basic competence in reading, writing, listening and speaking French and an understanding of basic French grammar. At the end of this module students will have reached a low A1 proficiency level in the CEFR and will be able to carry out very simple everyday tasks in French.
They will be able to introduce themselves and others and ask and answer questions about personal details such as where they live, people they know and things they have.
They will be able to interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help. They will have a basic understanding of significant aspects of life and culture of the country and intercultural skills necessary for their language proficiency level.

French language is offered by Intuition Centre. Intuition Exam Centres has assessed more than 10 language A Levels, GCSE and iGCSE’s to date. The list includes; Arabic, Cantonese, French, German, Gujarati, Hindi, Mandarin, Panjabi, Spanish and Urdu.
This semester the Language Centre will be offering over 80 classes in 14 different languages. Classes range from Beginners to Post A level and are available in French. This semester we will have both online and in person teaching.
French Language is offered by Learn For Life Enterprise for all skill levels. Learn for Life. Our language courses are ideal for people; looking to start a new hobby, going on holiday, who work internationally, who want to integrate in their community, meet new people and travel.
If you have never studied French before these courses are for you. Whether you're looking for an introduction to the language before a holiday, or want to study intensively, we have a range of beginners classes available.
