Legislations and standards applicable to operating a Front-End Loader
Risk management, control procedures & prepare for Front-End Loader operations
Drive and operate Front-End Loader, and modify the operating technique to meet work conditions
Relocate the Front-End Loader
Conduct house keeping
Assessment type: Theory and Practical
On successfully completion of being deemed competent you will receive a statement of attainment and a plastic industry wallet card issued by QTLT RTO 40931
A short literacy and numeracy test will be required
Prerequisites
Participates must be:
Minimum of 17 years of age to sit the assessment
Proficient in English

Cairns Truck School provides a range of heavy vehicle driving lessons, day courses and condensed training courses. Our courses are convenient, flexible and available seven days a week across North Queensland.
We have a large fleet of modern vehicles - offering you the best and most economical way to get your licence as quickly as possible including: LR/MR, HR, HC and MC with different type of gearboxes from an automatic, synchromesh (single clutch) and non-synchromesh (double clutch 18 speed road ranger).
Our instructors are industry experienced and we offer one-on-one tuition to ensure fast and cost effective results. We pride ourselves on quickly assessing your skill level then customising training/lessons to address your individual needs.
Cairns Truck School offers truck driver training based in Cairns and Far North Queensland, using Queensland Transport Customer Service Centres at Port Douglas, Mossman, Mareeba, Atherton, Innisfail and other areas.
We offer High Risk Work Licence for Forklift, industry training for Working at Heights, Confined Spaces, Dangerous Goods, White Card and other courses. Cairns Truck School is a third party aligned with RTO Queensland Transport and Logistics Training Pty Ltd
The Forklift Licence course is conducted over three (3) days for a regular course, or two (2) days for our advanced experienced operators course. Forklift Training is conducted at our Newcastle premises (MAP) - or if required our trainers can travel to site for on-site training.
This course provides training for those either seeking to enter a WHS role or who are already working in some form of WHS capacity, such as a safety coordinator, in a workplace setting.
Our Crane inspection awareness training course runs over a full day here at our facilities in Osborne Park or on-site with you. We have a highly trained and qualified trainer with over 30 years’ experience in crane operations, maintenance, and repairs.
Boom-type elevating work platform means a telescoping device, hinged device, or articulated device, or any combination of these, used to support a platform on which personnel, equipment and materials may be elevated.
This gas test atmospheres program covers the skills and knowledge required to test and monitor working atmospheres to determine whether they are suitable for the proposed work using electronic testing apparatus (gas detectors).
