Course Details

The game development concentration of the bachelor of science in information technology program is designed to give students an understanding of the development of computer and mobile two and three dimensional games. Students will gain a solid foundation in game development, while also studying information technology and computer science fundamentals. 

This program enables students who have an interest in gaming to gain the skills required to work as an independent game developer or on a team as a computer game programmer.

By the completion of this program, students will be able to:

  • Apply design and development principles in the construction of two-dimensional (2D) computer and mobile games
  • Apply design and development principles in the construction of three-dimensional (3D) computer and mobile games
