This training course will instruct personnel when gas testing is required, how to conduct gas testing and how to determine if the atmosphere is safe to work in.
Many practical exercises are included as part of the training which involves practical experience operating gas testing equipment.
The course is suitable for an individual working alone or within a team or a group working in liaison with other shift team members as well as the control room operator as appropriate.

Assessment
Participants' learning outcomes will be assessed using practical activities designed to simulate the work environment and written questions as appropriate. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be issued with a Statement of Attainment.
