You may start a course on any Monday (except for public holidays). You can study for any number of weeks (depending on your visa). You will receive a written progress report every six weeks, as well as a comprehensive written report at the end of your course.
Wilkinson’s English Language School will present you with a certificate at the end of your course. Every Friday afternoon we have fun activities. These are led by a teacher and range from sports to cultural experiences, to pronunciation games. We offer a short 40 hour IELTS exam preparation course, available to domestic and international students.
The full-time course includes more reading and writing as well as a range of options such as Grammar, Preparation for IELTS, English for Business, Vocabulary and Conversation. You can change your option regularly.
This course focuses on common language interaction in business, such as telephoning, writing business letters, meetings, and giving presentations. There is a strong focus on spoken skills and grammar, as well as an emphasis on formal writing and business-related vocabulary.
If you are planning to go on to further study in New Zealand after your English course, we strongly recommend our English for University course combined with IELTS preparation.
