All grammar points and functions included in the syllabus are taught and learned in a communicative way, to ensure students have the ability to survive in an English environment. Outdoor learning is also promoted in the curriculum as a means to support students in using and applying what they have learned in the classroom to real-life everyday situations.
NIS offers a range of General English courses from Beginner (A1) to Advanced level (C2). All students take a placement test upon enrolling and complete a speaking interview with a teaching member of staff before they start their course, to ensure they are placed in the appropriate level.
NIS is BAC “British Accreditation Council” accredited, Located in heart of Newcastle-UK, offers English language courses for International(overseas) students, Adults, Juniors either general/Academic courses of preparation exams (IELTS, CAE, FCE).
Our courses are from beginner to advanced level. We recognise each student has individual language learning goals.
We monitor the students’ progress throughout their studies and students receive a certificate at the end of their course.
