The Certificate of Completion (CCL) in Geographic Information Science program is designed to provide Geographic Information Systems (GIS) concepts including but not limited to cartography, map elements, and spatial analysis and syntheses, not simply GIS software.
In addition, students will use current technologies used in the workplace to identify and problem-solve environments where spatial data analysis is required.
Led by Dr. Steven R. Gonzales, a team of committed administrators, district leaders, and county politicians oversees the operations of the Maricopa County Community College District (MCCCD).
Together, they astutely guide Maricopa Community Colleges, one of the nation’s largest community college districts, in charting a course that promotes innovative, transformative, and cost-effective higher education.
