Course Details

Our adult class is especially designed to support anyone wishing to learn German in a fun relaxed way. Perhaps you are the only person in your family who does not speak any German, perhaps you would like to be able to help your children with their homework.

Or perhaps you have an opportunity to work in Germany but need to get a beginners knowledge base quickly.  This is your class! We start at the beginning and work at a pace that fits the needs and abilities of our students.

Our Classes:

Each class will be full immersion. To maximuize individual attention each class will have between 5-9 students. Each class will comprise 28 lessons and all students are invited to attend our holiday luncheon, St. Martin’s procession and our end of year picnic.

We intend to offer almost all of our classes in-person. Should the health guidelines change and require distance learning, we are prepared to do so. We will be offering one or more online classes. This means you do not need to live in San Diego or even California, for that matter, to learn German in our small boutique language and culture classes!

  • Teacher's Experience
  • Born and raised in Stuttgart, Germany, I am an elementary school teacher with a Masters Degree in Bilingual Education. I taught at several elementary schools in Germany before I moved to San Diego to teach 3rd and 4th grade German at Albert Einstein Academies. Currently, I am staying home with my children (15y, 4y, 1y) who are bilingual. We enjoy our backyard, the beach, parks, and everything else San Diego has to offer. We have a cat and three chickens. In our toddler and preschool play group, we will sing German songs and rhymes, talk about everyday objects and topics, read books, and dance. We will also celebrate and learn about seasonal cultural events, like Martinstag, Nikolaus, Karneval, and Easter. There will be plenty of time to connect with other parents and practice speaking German.
