Scope for German Learners

Germany is home to a large number of economic global players. Siemens, Volkswagen, Adidas, and Lufthansa are globally recognized brands and corporations. Knowing the German language can add that special edge to one’s resume and can increase employability in the job market. 

Those in the business world should also consider brushing up on their Deutsch, as knowing the language of their current or potential business partners will be helpful to strengthen the business opportunities. Germany is also a gateway to a world-class higher education.

SIFIL has been conducting one of the most sought after German language classes in Pune since 2000.Our courses are aligned to the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). T the pattern is commonly known as A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 levels of language certification. 

Starting with basic elementary level to intermediate and advanced level, SIFIL German language courses are semi-intensive. They are offered during mornings, afternoons & evenings on weekdays as well as weekends. These courses cater to the requirements of working professionals as well as students and language enthusiasts who want to explore new avenues.

From understanding basic commonly used expressions to writing simple texts of topics of personal interest, students are able to describe experiences, events, dreams as well as opinions when they progress to higher-level courses.

Four skills of language learning: reading, listening, writing and speaking are covered from the basic level to the advanced to familiarise students with the German language from day one of the course. Interactive teaching methodology, new age Ed-tech-tools are integral parts of our teaching sessions.

German Courses at SIFIL

A1 (No. of Hours – 120 hrs)

• Can understand and use very basic expressions to satisfy concrete needs.
• Can introduce them and ask others questions about personal details.
• Can interact simply as long as the other person speaks slowly and clearly.

A2(No. of Hours – 120 hrs)

• Can understand frequently used expressions in areas such as shopping, family, employment, etc.
• Can complete tasks that are routine and involve a direct exchange of information.
• Can describe matters of immediate need in simple terms.

B1 (No. of Hours – 130 hrs)

• Can understand points regarding family, work, school or leisure-related topics.
• Can deal with most travel situations in areas where the language is spoken.
• Can create simple texts on topics of personal interest.
• Can describe experiences, events, dreams, and ambitions, as well as opinions or plans in brief.

B2.1 & B2.2 (No. of Hours – 130 hrs each)

• Can understand the main ideas of a complex text such as a technical piece related to their field.
• Can spontaneously interact without too much strain for either the learner or the native speaker.
• Can produce a detailed text on a wide range of subjects.
