Course Details

Willkommen bei DASC! In this introductory German course, over 8 weeks students will learn how to say where they come from, how to introduce themselves and how to ask someone his/her name as well as question words and greetings. They will also learn the days of the week and some basic verbs ie doing words.

The course will be conducted at a gentle and relaxed pace using engaging materials with a friendly and encouraging tutor. If you're a fresh beginner or have a little bit of knowledge, this course is for you!

  • Martin has been teaching French and German for more than a decade and has several years' experience teaching adults in evening colleges in Canberra. He now brings this experience to Darwin! Along with being a qualified secondary school teacher, Martin holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) with a double major in Economic History and Advanced French and a Diploma in European Studies (German Studies) from the University of New South Wales (UNSW). He is also a German citizen through his mother. Martin is passionate about language and will ensure you learn more than you expect in a laid back, low pressure environment.
