Description
This beautiful sweater is called the Traveler Fair Isle Sweater designed by Briana Kepner (Briana K Designs). This sweater uses colorwork and single crochet variations to create the magnificent circular yoke. We will start it in August (dates to be announced soon). Yarn amounts will differ depending on size, but essentially you’ll need full-sized skeins of a main color and three accent colors. We will meet 6 days in a two-month timeframe to learn new stitches and techniques, get any help that we need, and to show off our projects!
You will need to choose yarn colors ahead of time and do a swatch to check gauge and to make sure we make enough yarn for everyone interested. Please have your skeins wound and ready to crochet before
Who We Are
My name is Kristy Berlehner. For the past decade, I was blessed to be a stay-at-home-mom of three beautiful children. We homeschool. We have moved a lot from one end of the country to the next; from Connecticut, to Texas, to California, and now to Oklahoma. My family and I are happy to finally be setting down some roots. And I’m thrilled to be opening up my business here in Edmond.
My goal in opening up Kristy’s Fiber Arts, LLC is to provide beautiful hand-dyed yarn and a cozy place for you to come and just relax. This world is so busy, these days, that we have forgotten the art of much-needed fellowship and community where women (and men) can sit, craft, and just be.
So come in and buy some yarn or bring your own and create with me!
Shop Small Busines
Small Business is, sadly, becoming a thing of the past. Most everyone is earning their keep by working for large corporations in some capacity or another. Here at Kristy’s Fiber Arts, LLC we are committed to support other small businesses.
We know there are some pretty talented people out there. And we love to find those people who provide professional grade items and feature their products in our store. We also do our best to keep our costs low so a large percent of the profit on their products goes to them.
If you haven’t done so already, please take a moment and visit our vendor page and get to know some other hand-crafters and what they offer. Check back often because we are always looking for new talent!
That being said, if you or someone you know has a professional grade hand-crafted product that should be featured in our store, please visit the store or the contact me section of the website. We would love to chat!
