This diploma is an in-depth Graphic Design Production that offers the student technical hands-on skills. Upon completion this student will have numerous opportunities for employment in the printing and communications industry.
Students will receive industry specific training on software programs designed to produce print media and electronic communications material. Examples of such software include: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat.
Training will be provided using different computerized systems, printers and desktop scanners to produce basic publications, ads, or print materials.
If you are creative and enjoy producing magazine ads, publications, books, brochures and advertisements, forms, business cards, or invitations, this degree is designed for you. This diploma is focused on training the student for the production workforce within the printing and publishing industry.
