This course will introduce you to the exciting world of graphic communication. This is the process of designing primarily visual material to convey information, ideas, meaning and emotions in response to a given brief.
During this course, you cover a number of areas and techniques including:
Communication Graphics
Design for Print, Advertising and Branding
Illustration
Packaging Design and Typography
You will complete a range of creative and exciting projects which will culminate in a portfolio of work that you can use to progress to either A Levels or vocational subjects in Art and Design-related subjects.
Entry requirements
You will need a genuine interest and passion for art and design. If you obtained mainly 3/D grades at GCSE, you may want to undertake a package of GCSEs alongside this one.
