In this workshop, the group will create a short film using a green screen, a technique that is used in many big-budget feature films to achieve spectacular effects. They can make themselves fly, disappear, visit the bottom of the sea – anything is possible!
The group will create a storyboard and then act out their film in front of a green screen. Following the shoot they will create stop motion animations to use as the backgrounds. In post-production, they will then create both elements and combine them together with fantastic results.
Skills Learned:
Character creation, storyboarding, story development, arts and crafts, stop motion animation, compositing and video editing. This develops good communication, team work, confidence building.
