Enhance your professional skillset by exploring grid-tied, solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. With the skills you develop in this course will be able to design a PV system and understand the applicable permitting requirements and associated drawings.
You will have a solid understanding of PV technological principles and knowledge of equipment commonly used in PV systems. You will also have obtained practical, hands-on experience installing and handling solar PV equipment.
Although this course is intended for Electricians, Electrical Inspectors or Engineers, others who have a basic understanding of electrical theory and a solid familiarity with the Canadian Electrical Code are welcome to enroll.
Students should be prepared to complete two assessments on the course material. Multiple optional review quizzes and worksheets will also be available throughout the course to practice.
