We have excellent guitar teachers, who teach on acoustic and electric guitars a variety of styles: rock, blues, jazz, metal, country, pop, classical, and Spanish.
No matter what type of guitar classes you are interested in, we have the right teacher for you.
Each class contains elements of music theory, guitar technique, ear-training, sight-reading, solo and ensemble performance, and you will always end each class with your favorite riff or song.
Guitar classes at our Academy are enhanced by the multiple performing opportunities to showcase a solo performance in a recital or jam with other musicians, including a rock band.
Since 2009 we have been passionate advocates of the arts, providing hundreds of students with quality education. The Academy was established in a three classroom space in Coral Gables, with only twelve students. In 2014, following several years of steady growth, we moved to a State-of-the-
Art facility custom designed and built with you and your children in mind. Today we proudly serve over1,200 families, both adults and children, delivering a wide variety of music, art, and dance programs in a manner that is unique in Miami.
For beginning students between the ages of 5-7 that express an interest in guitar lessons
Our studio offers guitar lessons as well as bass lessons. Curriculums cover all music styles including rock / metal (e.g., electric guitar) and bass, pop, jazz, smooth jazz, new age, country, folk guitar, and classical guitar
Our guitar teachers teach rock, blues, metal, country and classical guitar lessons on electric and acoustic guitars. Beginner students can expect to work on chords, simple songs and melodies, sight reading and theory
Guitar Lessons are offered by Portland Music Collective. Most music schools have “faculty.” At Portland's only music education cooperative, we call our music teachers Cooperative Teaching Artists (CTAs).
